About me

I created I Dig It, LLC to establish and maintain the Galvez Garden. In collaboration with our sister nonprofit, the NOLA Artist Incubator, and the assistance of Master Gardener volunteers, I manage the community garden located in St. Roch. I am a certified LSUAg Master Gardener and Permaculture Designer (Oregon State University). Currently I serve a the Vice President of the NOLA Nature School Board, as a Community Committee Member of SPROUT, and on the Leadership Team of the Greater New Orleans Growers Alliance.

I’m excited that I’ve expanded to creating new green spaces and outdoor learning environments outside of Galvez Garden. I provide garden and permaculture design consultation and am happy to help you design the green space of your dreams! Most recently I’ve offered my consultation services to Xavier University in their greening initiatives through gardening on campus. Currently so am excited about leading the work going on in the St. Roch Revitalization Project along St. Roch Avenue.
